In January of 2019, my sister-in-law passed away unexpectedly. She suffered from polysistic kidney disease much of her life and she was hospitalized often. Everyone thought this was another brief setback and she would recover and be home soon. But unfortunately that was not the case. Joyce Murphy was the epitome of what everyone desires in a friend. To be around her was always entertaining – she had a spirited, playful, prankster, always fun to be around personality. A big smile and a delightful quick witted personality with a little chuckle always present in her conversations. She was so talented in crafts, painting, quilting, etc. She was forever pursuing new projects, skills, challenges despite her health issues. She lived life to the fullest and never gave up.
After returning to work and with Joyce so present on my mind and my memories of her joy for life, I decided to leave the frustration of over 25 years of work in the political world and reach for a happier, peaceful rhythm to my life.
Omni-spring – springing into a new phase, springing or jumping off into a new adventure….Omni-spring seemed like a good place to start enjoying the world and going forth with less stress and develop a positive outlook.
